COVID-19

If you are looking for information about booking a COVID vaccine, please visit www.bchu.org/COVID19Vaccines or if you are not able to access the internet, please call the Brantford County Health Unit at 519-753-4937. We appreciate that you are eager to receive more information about the timing of COVID vaccinations for the community. Please check the Brantford County Health Unit Website and the Brantford Expositor regularly for updates. Currently family physician offices will not be receiving any Covid vaccines.

During the pandemic, we are limiting in-person appointment to essential visits only. We are still booking phone consultations with our physicians and NPs. Do not come to the office without calling first. Our number is 519-753-9581.

Per Public Health guidelines, if you have returned from international travel, including the United States, you must self-isolate for 14 days upon your return. Information about self-isolation can be found here.

If you have a new cough shortness of breath, or fever, please complete the COVID-19 self-assessment tool. If you screen positive, stay on the line to book a phone consultation with our clinic. If you screen negative and have mild cough or cold symptoms, stay at home and self-isolate for 7 days, and for at least 48 hours after your symptoms resolve. If you have worsening cough or feel short of breath, and you are worried about your health, do not come to the clinic until you have spoken to staff. This will help our staff do the right things to care for you and for other people in the clinic, and to prevent the potential spread of infection. If you feel you need emergency medical care, call 911 or go to the emergency department.
